Task: You and your partners are invited to present a proposal for the new mayor of the city to solve some university or community challenges. Your proposal will be presented in UNtelevision.
Purpose: Describe a challenge, its causes, its effects, and the idea you have to tackle.
Situation: You and your partners are invited to talk about a challenge that you have identified and the entrepreneurial idea you have to tackle the issue.
To sucessfully develop this task you should:
Record a video per project team. In your video you will include:
1. Introduce yourself: What are your names? What do you study? what are your academic interests? Do you belong to a research or study group?
2. Define what the challenge is (causes and effects):
We identify (define what the challenge is). Some of its main causes are… One of its effects is… another is… and the last one is…
3. Solution (entrepreneurial idea)
To solve that problem, explain what your entrepreneurial idea is about by answering the following questions:
- What are you developing?
we are (planning/starting/growing) an entrepreneurial idea (fill in your project name) which is a (website? device? mobile app? campaign?)
- How did you come up with the idea?
- How are you going to solve the problem?
We will contribute to solving this problem by (explain what you will do differently or uniquely)
- Who is your solution addressed to? (fill in your target audience here)
In order to prepare your proposal, write a problem-solution paragraph. It will also be part of your project proposal.
